Lights have gone off for the day, so I'll try to get a couple shots tomorrow after work. I know I have a couple of early shots of the red Monti Cap and the reverse superman Monti. I'll have to dig through my camera shots to see what else I may have on the SPS.

Lol I wasn't gonna mention the tang but cool!

Any comparison pics to how the sps growth over time? I am always curious at the amount of growth so I can compare it to the growth I see in my tank.

Here you go:

Finally, my new Ricordea rock I added a few weeks ago

Woke up this morning to go to work and figured i'd flip the chaeto over in my fuge only to find about 10 baby bangaii cardinals swimming around down there. I knew my male has had a mouthful for a couple of weeks, but I honestly didn't plan on any making it. Pretty exciting!!

Here's hoping. Currently, they are just a tiny bit smaller than a dime. I threw some filter floss on either end of the fuge to keep them safe. Should be plenty of food for them down there, as I don't run filter socks.

A few shots from today, forgive my inability to operate an iPhone camera to its fullest capabilities...

A few pics of this, now, slow...build

Going to use a 5gal carboy as an ATO reservoir.

Getting there slowly...

Did you buy that 5 gallon jug online? If so, where? I've been trying to find them!

A quick update on my 75. Things are cooking along nicely, definitely lots of growth!

Your tank looks amazing! The transformation is awesome! What pumps did you end up going with? I saw in your first post you said you wanted two mp40's but you weren't sure at that time. I have the exact tank as you that I'm building right now and I wanted to go with two mp40's but I wasn't sure if I needed both to be 40's.

awesome to watch this progression! looks like you've had a blast too. Are you dosing anything? kalk in the ato? or just water changes?

It was/is a lot of fun! I dose kalk through my ATO currently. I've built up over time to 1 1/2 tsp per gallon, so I'm getting close to the full saturation amount of 2tsp per gallon. Other than that, I dose 5ml of Brightwell Aquatics Magnesion twice a day to keep my magnesium levels up. As far as water changes, I do 10g per week, although I've gotten lazy here and there and let that slip a week or two.

I have ended up with an MP40 and MP10 on opposite sides of the tank in anti-sync mode. I don't think 2 MP10s would have gotten the job done for me. If I could do it again, I would have gone with 2 MP40s though. Granted, they would both be dialed back a bit, but I think it would be a more consistent flow pattern on each side of the tank. This will most likely be an upgrade down the road for me.

Ok thanks, You just made my mind up.
