about how long does it take coral to grow

how long does it take coral frags to grow? xenias,purple tip frogspawn, echinata, etc

I;ve had some of my frags grow over and around their plugs in just a few months. I have a zooa issue, way too much already. lol Xeia will spread ike a plague, that I promise you. My frogspawn syarted with one head adn now has three after about 5 months.

Some corals grow very rapidly while some are very slow. Alot will depend on yoru lighting and water quality.

okay thanks! one more thing you know the thing frags come on? either a peice of rock or plastic.. you place that in the tank also right?

I do and have. Gives it a place to hold on.

Yep, I just place them until they get large enough to glue the frag circle to a larger rock. I hate the frags with the pointy thing on the bottom, you have to find a good place to prop them in. I much prefer the flat discs.
