Acclimating Bacteria?

My dilemma is that the temp in my QT is around 76-75, but my 34g (where I will be taking filter media from that has bacteria) it is around 80. Won't the bacteria die from shock if I don't acclimate it?

Also, the salinity in the QT is at 1.009. Thanks!

I think I have read that somewhere, just bump your temp up a degree or two each day till it's 80?

The bacteria is in the filter

Why don't you bump the temp up to 79 80, then you won't have to worry about it

Most parasites live cycle speeds up in warmer water so it will make your hypo much more effective anyway

It duznt matter where it is it really cant grow at such a low salinity so u should deff raise that and drip acclimate the rocks just coz of how low it is

That's a really good point, when ppl usually QT and do hypo salinity they don't have any real chemical filtration, if they do use a filter it just acts as a mechanical filter. Correct me if I'm wrong..
