Adding live sand to an existing tank

Hi, just wondering if is safe to add live sand to an existing aquarium with coral,fish and invert...

You can if you are careful...I wouldn't want to add any used sand to an established aquarium as it is always full of poop and food that will cause parameter issues.
But for clean sand, you can use a piece of PVC and stick it down into the sandbed of your tank and gently pour down into it to prevent causing a sandstorm in your tank.
 
Oh ok, because on the bag say to wait about 3 days before adding fish.
Talking about live sand brand new in bags..

Well, I personally think the 'live' part is a gimmick and doesn't replace cycling at all. I would put it in a bucket and give it a good rinse to get the small particles out and slowly add it to the tank.

Rinsing with ro water is neither a good idea. Beneficial bacteria can stay dormant in the bag without oxygen. They will die when rinsed with fresh water. I would not rinse them at all.
