Adding sand to a running tank

is it safe to add live sand to a tank thats already going? its just cycled, all levels perfect. not necessarilly planning to do it soon, but want to know just in case. i have CC now...

Yep, if it's truely live sand, more of the critters will survive going into a tank that is already cycled. Depending on how much sand you add....you may want to monitor your ammonia and nitrite levels for a couple of dayss, incase a large number of the critters dies off.
