advice for water change ...

I just added a Coral Beauty yesterday and my regularly scheduled water change is today, I usually do 5 gallons out of a 29gal!

Should I go ahead and do the water change or should I give the fish some time in the tank without stirring things up?

What's the general rule about adding new things and doing water changes? If there even is one!

I say go ahead and do the change. If the fish was properly acclimated, it should not be an issue.

Yup I dripped him for an hour and a half .... left the lights off the rest of the night!
