Advice Requested: Dying Coral

Good day all,

I am new to coral keeping. Recently I took command of an established tank. I've noticed two corals deteriorating. Pictures are posted and any help would be appreciated to save this unique and fascinating creatures.

On the other hand I could be wrong about their health. In said case some reassurance would be nice.

Do you know your tank parameters?

do you use RO/DI or TAP
looking at the first pict I'm leaning towards ALK issue
