agressive percula

I have a pair of percula but one seems slightly bigger. The bigger percula gave me a hard time whenever I try to clean the tank. He is always nipping my hands or the spring. Why?

The bigger one is the female,probably feels she is protecting from an intruder,or some females are just mean.LOL
