AK and DKH ???

Ok so I have a test kit for AK..it says to measure out x amt of water and then administer the drops of regent to the water. After the water turns from yellow to blue, count the number of drops and divide by 2...does this seem right? What does this give me? Dumb question, but I assume it the AK level..so what should the AK level and or DKH level be? My test says between 5-6 is normal and LFS test kits say 10-12..Im confused. I use ESV B Ionic and put the same amt in each night. CA levels run about 350-425...Sorry Im all over the place on this one.

How many drops did it take to turn yellow? If 5 drops then your Alk is 2.5mg/l if 6 then it is 3.0 mg/l and so on. Seachem test?
