I have a couple algae questions. One, I have algae growing off of my hob filter I included a picture. Is this bad? Two, I have a bright green substance growing on my LR. I thought it was coraline at first but when I was moving one of my rocks I felt the green stuff and it was slimy. Pictures are included.

The slimy stuff on your lr and filter I would guess is some type of cyanobacteria. The green algae I can't tell. Possibly hair algae but here are some links for you to look through.

looks like hair algae of some type, It does not look 100% like cyno to me?? time will tell.
have you tested for Nitrates and phosphates and what type of water are you using.
