My surface of my substrate seems to have been filled by 2 types of algae! Can anyone tell me what they are and what I can do to get rid of them??

Cyanobacteria and diatoms.
The diatoms will fade away when the silicates in the sand are consumed. Not a problem.
Cyano feeds off of nutrients in the water column, just like all algae will, but also in low flow areas.

I use rowaphos in a cartridge filter it dropped my phosphates from 2ppm to 0.25 over night! It is clearing my hair algae
