Is it possible for it to pearl?

Seem like some of my purple / green algae on my back glass had pearling

(clear air bubbles) coming from it

I just upgraded my lights and before that this algae did not do this.

MY readings

Nitrate 10 lowest measurement on my test set
ph 8.0
Nitrite .2 the lowest measurement on my test set

Its not the green bubble algae I have seen that and this is not that.

Its the same type of algae I seen on some of the other established tanks on this site it just has bubbles on it like plant that is pearling does in a fresh water tank

How can I remove it just wipe it off? If its bad was is causing it.

Any help suggestions would be appreciated.

if you have nitrite its bad so its a must you have to bring that down to zero...how i got rid of those bubble is i cut down the light a little did water change and have a lot of current pointed to the back of the tank and it took care of it...never seen it since and yes it could be the light cause i got mine when i switch from t5 to halides.

and some cuc would help especially snails.

I dont ever clean my back glass. I leave it for my yellow eyed kole tan and black sailfin blenny to pick at.
