I wanted to know what you guys think. I have a pretty bad hair algae infestation. Now I have a Blue Regal that loves it, but is seems she leaves eats it, but still leaves it on the rock, just eats it to the base. I have probobly 20 blue leg hermits also. What can I do to help out with this. I am starting RO water now, and I put some algone in, but the algone has had no effect in 3 weeks. Should I have more clean-up crew, if so, what is would ya'll think for a 55 soon to be reef? I know a blenny may help also. Any other suggestions?

MAybe a Lettuce Nudibrach? I know that if you rget one, it will eat algae until it is gone. The only problem is, it will starve to death when it does... Nudibrachs have a way of eating the algae so that the cells cannot reproduce. I believe they puntcure the cell walls and suck the insides out? for lack of better terms...
