I need some advice from you experts. I just discovered grape caulerpa algae growing in my overflow. Should I remove it in fear of it spreading to the tank or should I leave it to help control phosphates almost like a scone sump?
Thanks!

If you have a decent herbivore in your tank I'd let it grow out but they have a decent root system which makes it very hard to eradicate if you want to. If you have the room try setting up a refugium. Grow an nicer type that is less likely to go out of control.

Thank you. I have a refegium as well.

If you dont wanna risk it spreading then i would remove it. If you have any tangs etc they will usually gobble it up so it will be hard for it to spread.

A refugium with a constant 24hr light cycle is best for it.
