I keep my tank at about 10dkh. 
I use regular instant ocean crystals and dose about twice or three times a week with soda ash to maintain between water changes.

i keep mine about 9dkh, anywhere between 8-12 is fine. the important thing is to keep it stable. I use ATO with Kalk and mine stays the same

Mine is at 9 , started dosing couple of days ago . I still have to raise calcium but looks like alkalinity is done.
