Hi I am new to forum's so please forgive me if I sound daft.

I have been setting up my 95l marine tank now for a few months and have been testing it using an API test kit the readings are
High Range pH 8.0
Ammonia 0.50ppm
Nitrite 0.0ppm
Nitrate 10ppm

I have a few hermit crabs and 2 turbo snails in which are doing fine, are my readings fine to start getting fish. If not could someone please tell me what they should be and how to get them to levels that wll allow me.

Thanks All

You can add some hardy fish like damsels and chromis right now if you wanted, but before you get any expensive fish get that ammonia down to 0

Honestly I think you could put a moderately hardy fish in like a Valentino puffer, but it's better to be safe than sorry... Not fun to learn the hard way.

:) hope I helped!!

Also I would try to get that ph. To around 8.2 slowly and carefully of course.

Thanks everyone I will continue to test and do a few more water changes for now until my ammonia hits 0 then will start with done hardy fish before adding others
