I considered a foxface in the beginning, then I found out they have venemous spikes on their back, and with an open top tank I didn't wanna risk him jumping and then my son grabbing him, worst case scenario I know but it could happen lol

If you don't have any small inverts maybe a longnose hawk fish. They have quite the personality. Or even a flame hawk fish.

Unfortunately I have, those hawk fish are awesome tho, my Lfs has a flame hawk in there display tank and its quite a character, very cool to watch. Maybe my next tank
