that is sweet. Gives me hope for my 10g Can anyone help me/explain to me how a autotop off system works or can be set up. I would like to set one up for my tank.

auto top off system works just like a toilet tank does (float switch). There are many horror stories with them though. Salt water has a way of causing malfunctions. There has been many floors flooded because of auto top off setups.

Oh so its not good idea? I wanted it just so the salinty wont fluctuate as much. Looks like ill just have to be precise

Use more than one. I have 2 in my set up in case one fails.
