Water changes. I would want to address why you have ammonia, since it is toxic. Did you cycle your tank before adding livestock? Is there porous rock and sand in your tank for bacteria to grow? Did you add any livestock recently? How big is the tank?

Your tank has only been up 3 weeks, it us cycling, 2 months from now you will be ready for your first fish, it takes months to even start a reef tank. If you rush, you will just spend money and fail, everyone wants an instant reef tank, but that only happens on tv.

Amquel does not remove nitrates. Amquel is not a way to shorten the cycle either. If you try to remove the ammonia, you will not have a strong bacteria colony, and when you add fish, you'll see ammonia again, only this time it can kill your fish.
