Ammonia question

Am trying to cycle my tank its gonna be for reef . I tried using the shrimp but the smell was to bad and my wife made me take it out of my tank. I havent been able to find pure ammonia at home depot . The local hardware store carries a janitor strengh ammonia at 10 precent. Wpould that be good

I used "janitorial strength" ammonia. If you shake the bottle and there are NO bubbles, then you can use it. Smells a lot better than the shrimp. Lol
