Well first you need a tank that has been up for about a year. Then yes you will need special lighting.. You can't go wrong with MH here. However there are alot more factors that go into it than just lighting you may want to start with The Consecoius Marine Aquarist by Bob Fenner just to get a quick overview of what's involved then continue your research online.

it also depends on the type of anemone you want to get. what Doan has said is very true unless you are talking about a condy anemone or a rock anomone. these specimens require less light and such. why don't you tell us a little about your current setup and what type of anemone you would like to keep that way it would be easier for us to help you out.
