Anemone Feeding

I was wondering what everyone fed their long tentacle and bubble anemones and how often. I lost the one (the one pictured) after what I assumed to be improper feeding. I plan on getting another after my tank cycles and I don't want to kill it!

What lights do you have? What are your water parameters? How long you had tank setup? You dont have to feed nems at all. They are photosynthetic. Which means, they get food from lights, so to speak.

I have a 150 metalhailide. My water was fine I test with API test kit. I was told you need feed them pieces of fish? He was doing fine for about a month and then went downhill pretty fast not sure what happened.

I had one for years and never fed it. It gets all it needs from the lighting and water column.
