My anemone got sucked up by my powerhead lastnight, DOA
Question is will this affect my water, the water look milky white few a couple of hours........I put the HOB filter on and cleared up. My other fish and cleanup crew look pretty good and eating well this morning. What type of test sould I run on my water to make sure its ok.?

Run the standard set of ammonia, nitrite and nitrate tests. There is always a potental when an anenome gets schreeded by a PH that the stinging cells get spread by the water current and land on corals and fish. Unless the anenome was really powerful as a stinger or alot of these cells land on a coral or fish they should be ok but be on the watchout for spots of tissueregression on any corals you might have.

wow....my reading went skyhigh
Ammonia 0.25
Nitrite 2.0
Nitrate 40
pH 8.0

Should I do about a 20% water change or just wait.???

I just did a 50% water change the other day, I was going to start running chemi-pure today
