Anemones and Hermit Crabs
Do small blue leg hermit crabs eat anemones? I have a larger anemone and a smaller one, and the hermit crabs seem to gang up around the anemone, however I havent seen them actually eating it, and when it is fully open it looks fine, not damage to the arms.
Do they attack anemones? Also...are small clams and scallops hard to keep?...what are the requirments? |

I have blue legged hermits and never had a problem with them messing around with my anenomie. I know the clams are high light intensity and I dont know about the scallops.

Flame Scallops are virually impossible to keep because of the feedings they require. It can pollute the rest of your tank. As for the clams as long as you dont over stock and have some decent lighting you should be ok
