If you could offer him a natural diet of live food a few times a week, then that would be great.
I find raw food to be easier to manage. If for some reason he doesn't eat the live food, then you have to remove it. Unless it's a sw
species. I would offer him different foods like raw shrimp or pieces of silversides etc. Mine started out on guppies. Then I got him to start taking raw shrimp pieces. Once he got used to me and into a feeding routine, now he eats anything, raw or dried. He even eats flake food.
