anthias

Are anthias schooling fish and Are they hardy? Where can I get them for a good price if so? Some of the Lyretails are very nice, I think a school of them would compliment my reef nicely.

Anthias are schooling fish, but from what I've read...are best kept singly in the aquarium. Don't know whos got a good price on them...maybe someone else can help. I had 3 P. squamipinnis in my 150 reef for a few years, but I will admit one was always the "odd man out".

I read about them last night in a marine aquarium book I got from the library and it said that they should not be kept alone in an aquarium as they are schooling fish in the wild. they suggested 3 or more. Don't know anything else about them..

How is your canopy going? or have you started it yet...

What was the name of the book, and what was the copywrite?
