Anyone ever raised a finger leather frag???

I got one and it stays open pretty much ,but I am unsure of how it will branch it has been seeming top heavy and laying sideways lately (still all polyps out) .Is that the begining? or jsut a top heavy little guy

I'm in the fourth week w/ my leather finger frag (pic in my gallery). It took 2 weeks for it to fully extend. Its doing great now.

mine is diff for some reason one of us has the wrong name for our's lol. Mine is just a thumb size stalk as of right now also nothing big like that

LOL! Probably mine, thats what my freind called it when he fragged it for me. They are probably in the same family though.

Maybe someone else can chime in and set us straight

Give it time. It will grow. Mine's the size of a cantelope. That's after I fragged over half of it out. It will grow many "fingers" and branches and will right it's top heavy appearance.

I have seen such leathers that weigh well over 25lbs.

The branching aspect is kind of random from what I can tell from the ones I have had.

I jsut started target feeding it micro vert and I feed the tank phyto
