Aqua C Remora or Bak Pak.......

Both are on ebay for reasonable prices. This would be for a 30 gallon reef. I've heard good reviews on both. Which should I go for?

I went for the Aqua C, just for the reason that I've heard better things about them.

I just got the Remora with MJ1200 on my 37g mixed and it works really well. I am happy to say the least.

Having run both, I would get the Aqua-C. Both are good skimmers, but I prefer the Remora.

Having the Remora Pro that came with a Mag 3 and now upgraded to a Mag 5 I must say I hate this skimmer....

The skimmers either work or they don't... its like there is no quality control at the plant.

I'm running the aqua c remora (non pro version) on my 37g mixed reef with a mj1200 and it works great. I fill half the cup up with brown nastys every 3 or 4 days. Good luck
