I tried to start my 75 gallon aquarium and it went pretty badly. So I'm kind of starting over. Right now I have a 75 gal with a canister filter and I've read and heard that they create high nitrates....i have high nitrites right now...i don't have a nitrate testing kit. I saw this aquaclear pro series with wet/dry prefilter in a live aquaria catolague and it said that it was a good filter. Would this be good? I'm planning on buying live rock and maybe doing corals...or is there a better wet/dry filter?

no deep sand bed just crushed coral..80 lbs of it. I'm planning on having somewhere inbetween 70-90 pounds of rock.
