Aquacultured corals?

Hi.
I've been looking online to find a place to get a few corals. While looking I found a lot of sites had a tab marked aquacultured. What does that mean? Are they bigger or healthier then other corals? This might be a dumb question but please answer it. Thanks.

Aquacultured corals refers to specimens that are grown in large tanks with synthetic salts and lights etc. Maricultured corals on the other hand are grown out in the ocean in a protected area using natural saltwater and sunlight.

Aquacultured corals tend to faira bit better in our hobby. Personally I don't care so much where corals are grown as long as they are a specimen I want in my tank. Fish other the otherhand is a different story.

Aquacultured just means that the coral was grown in a tank, rather than harvested from the ocean. Obviously this is better because then the reefs, fish and corals in the wild aren't being depleted.
