Are all sponges created equal??

I just got done with cycling my 20gal. reef. And yesterday i bought what the LFS called a orange tree sponge but i looked it up and all the pics i saw looked different they were skinny branchy looking and the thing i have has more broad leave like branches. I would post pics but my cam. sucks My question was. I have heared that sponges dont like a lot of light and mine is at the top of my tank. So should i move it? I have 130watts on it 65watts 10,000k and 65watts of actinic?
