Astrea snail spawning? - Aquarium Advice

I just noticed one of my astrea snails this evening open up a vent near it's mouth and blow out a bunch of whitish stuff. It looked like smoke. It did it for about 5 minutes, then stopped.

Was this a spawning attempt? Never seen it happen in my tank before tonight.

I believe that`s what it was Lindsay. Hopefully something will come out of it.

Yup... that's what it was. Had it happen just a bit ago in mine too.

Massive snail spawn - finally caught them!
