attempt at tower

Well, I tried to build some towers in my tank with mixed results.
I made 2 pvc towers out of 1/2 and they worked rather well.

Problem was drilling the rock, it kept breaking so I was only able to really manage 1 tower. The pvc is great due to the fact that you get nice flow under the tower and more places for fish to hide.

its actually very stable with the extended feet.

Yea, he's 13 years old. Ready for him to buy the farm but he's in real good shape.

i did a PVC rack. it holds 2/3'rds of my LR. the PVC tower idea looks good. Nice tank BTW...it looks very established.

Thanks, its about 8 months old. Some of the rock was moved over from my old 55.

I'll be moving in about a year and when that happens I'm putting all the rock on pvc structures. Can't really tell by the pics but there is so much more swimming room and increased flow is sweet.

I made those towers in 5 minutes and did not need to use any glue.
