Babies?

One of my peppermint shrimp started swimming around and he looked like the bottom of him was coming apart and then all these little white things came out...they swim like misquito larvae (yes I realize I can't spell )...Are these going to harm my tank? Does anyone know what they are?

Are they baby shrimp, cuz a couple of my chromis seem to be having a hay day eating them up?

they probably are babies, my peppermints eggs are kinda green spheres under the belly. either way unless you wanna keep em consider it a good food source for the time being.
