balls pickel lime ?

ok so i finally ran out of kent kalk and found some balls lime but have two questions
1) think steve-s wrote something a bit back about ball lime having alot of iron in it ?? did i read that right ?? couldnt find the post ! should i find mrs.wages instead?
2) when i would mix 1 tsp of kent kalk to 1 gallon even after 24 sit time it would be a very light milky color !! but i mixed the ball lime and the water is very clear ! doesnt seam to dissolve as much either ! is this normal for this type of lime ?

I am using the ball's as well and i noticed that as well. Shruggs. I guess that is ok.

It's fine, IME, you have to use a little bit more of the pickling lime than the LFS stuff.
