I opted on an HOB medium aquafuge for my new set-up. There are so many "`fuge muds" out there. What are some suggestions for the best way to go?

Also--it has been suggested to me that Chaeto is so dense that it traps some debris when used in the Aquafuge. Should I just stick with caulerpa, or can the Chaeto be controlled enough in the Aquafuge so I can reap its benefits?
How often would it have to be pruned out?

No mud is the best. None of them really add anything that I can tell or have heard of. Just use Lr rubble. I have chaeto in my sump but I can't comment on how it work in the AquaFuge.

I have the miracle mud in my fuge but if I had it to do over I would not have used it. I just dont see anything that it has done. I use grape calerpa but you have to keep it lighted 24/7 and pruned or it will go sexual and cloud up the tank.
