I switched from IO to Oceanic (1-200 gal bucket) then to Kent.

I've been seeing low pH so I finally got a Pinpoint monitor, calibrated it and voila, my tank is at 7.9 - 8.05 depending on time of day.

My new batch of Kent mixed up (SG=1.025) at pH of 8.0; Ca at 355 and Mg at 1110 using Salifert. One of the 3 test kits does show an expired date so I ordered all new kits.

I'll mix another batch after the new kits get here and post that result. I'll be testing pH, Alk, Ca and Mg at SG of 1.025 at 80 degrees using RO/DI water (new filters yesterday).

I have a small amount of IO left over from a 25gal box that I can test too.

I'll test a few others if someone wants to send me enough to make a 5 gallon batch.
