Urchins will take it down as well, but they are like bulldozers in a reef tank.

I actually have an urchin, dark purpleish spines with a black central disk. He's about 2 and a half inches from spine tip to spine tip. He is doing his part but can only keep a couple of the rocks clean.

Just stay away from the ones with sharp spines!
