I am redoing my 80G saltwater tank. Everything is out and I am cleaning it. What is the best way to clean and kill any algae and algae spores left in the tank or will just cleaning very well and letting it dry do that? Is Clorox bleach the best way to clean the tank (since I can use one of the various water treatment products to neutralize any residual bleach)?

Thanks!

You can use bleach. A couple capfuls of bleach in a bucket of water. Rinse real well and if you want you can use some dechlorinator when you fill the tank up. Not really necessary but it gives some people a sense of security.
