Best way to raise pH?

My pH is 7.9. whats the best way to raise it? I have Aquarium Pharmasuticals Proper pH 8.2, will that do the job, or is there a better way to do it.

nevermind, I figured out that the issue was my recent removal of the skimmer for a few days. the lack of aeration caused the pH drop. Cool!
