Have a 210 gallon FOWLR set up that's been running for 3 1/2 years and recently had a case of red slime algae. Looking for the best and easier way to rid of it. Thanks

Cyanobacteria is a nutrient issue. Use of ro/di water, minimizing feedings, and siphoning the cyano out during water changes (weekly at a minimum to see quicker results) is the only way to get rid of it. There are treatments like red slime remover, but it will only address the slime and not what caused it, whichout addressing that it will just come back again.

yes find and fix the cause not the results, dump as few of chemicals in your reef to fix something as you can. No one is treating our oceans :)
