I am picking up two clownfish from an AA member this weekend (YAY!). What are your suggestions on how to transport them for an hour and half drive?? Will bagging them up be enough? or should I try to hook up a bubbler to oxengate the water?

I am also getting some liverock from the same guy. Should the liverock be covered with water? or will wet newspaper do?

Thanks a bunch.

Did I mention that I'm getting TWO clownfish?!?!?!? :multi:

For the rock, you're better off putting it in water. No dieoff that way.

the clowns should have no problem being in a bag for an hour and a half. Think about the fish that are shipped to petstores. They're in the bags for at least a few hours. Most likely they are packed with Oxygen though.

i recently moved a 75gal aquarium with about 100lbs of lr we put it in rubbermaid tubs and filled the tubs with water we did the same with the 3 fish we got 2 and they were alright all day with a power head on u should have no problems. good luck with the fish :D
