Is bio-denitrator unit good for reducing NO3? It indicates that the bacteria in it need to be fed.
 
They do work to a certain degree but de-nitrators take a good 6-8 weeks after being set up to show any real results. You could employ one but quite honestly finding and eliminating the source of the problem would be more beneficial.

In any event if you're a DIY person, I would suggest looking into making one yourself. They are not that involved.....
