bio-pellets n GFO

I run a TLF phosban reactor. Right now I have the NPX bio-pellets running in them. I was wondering if I could add GFO with the pellets? I bought a can of GFO n never used it. So I was just wanted to know of I could mix the two together

I've heard of people doing that. However, due to the consumption rates of the materials being different you will be "wasting" some b/c you will be changing both medias based on the consumption of the one media that has been spent
