black hair algae? brown hair algae? what is this? (pics inside)

Can someone please help me to identify this and tell me what i can possibly do to get rid of.
not sure if it's black hair or brown hair algae.

all my levels are good.
phosphates went up just a tad bit but thats it.

Please help! it is starting to spread rapidly!

Does it blow off easily? It looks a little like cyano.
 
Try to brush it off with a tooth brush or try dosing peroxide
 
Looks like cyanobacteria. Increase flow to the area, possibly feed less (or use less flake food), use RO/DI water for topoffs and PWC's, more water changes. It's probably excess nutrients in your water.
 
Blasting scally wag u got cyno mate lol very common when u overfeed or bulbs are more then year old or u don't do enough pwc
 
the wierd thing is i use ro water and i have plenty of waterflow in take (2 hydors 1050's. and it's growing in high flow areas. lol
i was maybe overfeeding but stopped, now just doing 1-2 feedings a day.
did a 30% pwc and things seem to have calmed down. but i still have some.
my light schedule has been reduced to around 4 hours a day. was 9 hours a day.

am i on the right path?
