blackout ?

should i do a blackout my tank has had cyno for ever now and i can't find the problem. I bought an ro/di i got a phosban reactor i only feed a little every other day. all perems are good i can't figure it out. I was thinking of a black out for five days but do you think it will hurt my condi anemone and i have some zoo's and kenya tree's.. Black out or not?????

A one week blackout would not cause any harm. It is normal in the wild for corals to possibly go a few days without light during bad weather.

have you tested for phosphates? how old are the bulbs and what kind of flow do you have.. Going black may help now but what happens in a month when it comes back because the same tank conditions are there?
Test water and post numbers... test ro/di water and tank water...
Cyno is a pain but it can be beat..
