blowing sand

sands blowing (i don know what should i call that) whenever the inverts "walking" around .... why is this happening? i have seachem meridian sand substrate.
oh... is this what they called sand storm?
is that normal? what should i do?

How new is the tank? Chances are your substrate is still settling.

A sand storm more when you first add sand to the tank it turns the water cloudy. Or if you have a bad fish that sturs the sand to the point that the water is cloudy.
