Blue-Green Chromis Hiding
I have a 76 gallon half circle tank that just finished cycling. My LFS
said my paramaters were fantastic. I finally got my first fish, 3 bluegreen chromis and 2 dwarf red legged hermits. I drip acclimated both for 2 hours. The hermit crabs are having fun picking off algae from the sand, but the chromis' are yet to be found. When I put them into the tank, one of them was swimming around in the current, and the others were swimming around the filter. I went to the bathroom, checked in on them 5 minutes later, and they disappeared. My hermits are still there and fine. They could not have jumped out, I have the top completely covered. The light hasn't been on all day. What could have happened?
They were shoaling in the tank at the LFS
. They told me not to QT them, as they do that for 2 weeks before any livestock goes on sale, along with a FW
