I am buying a blue spotted vlamingi tang and know the basics but I want to know more so if you have or had one tell me all about it and if you recommend it.

Sounds good I heard the are similar to a naso tang in behavior if that is true I will be vary happy

180 really isnt big enough..... they get over 2' long, and a 180 is 2' wide..... the width should be atleast 1.5x the length of the fish. GL with it though, and plan for an upgrade!

Thank you all for the advice I think I won't get now but the site I was on seed if I had a 180 I would be big enough.

For a while but in the long run it'll probably get too big. You could keep it for awhile but then you would need an upgrade.
