blue tang

i just got a bule tang but i dont no wat is wrong with him when the lights go off it stays at the top of the tank dose anyone no why this is pls

What size tank, how old is the tank. How long have you had it exactly, did you see it eat at the pet store. What else is in the tank and how did you acclimate the fish. Hes only doing that when the light is off?

my tank is 40 gallons its set up for 4 weeks i have live rock an two clown hes fine swimin around an eating ok when the light is on x

I would say he is fine, I've had fish that have done this kind of like their little "sleeping corner"

Just make sure you keep a close eye on him they are major ICH magnets!! If you see any white spots get ready to move him.
